Short week in Abu Dhabi.

78 and 76 wasn't exactly what I had hoped for in my first event of the year. My game was weak. My practice has been good but I really lacked consistency on the course. I still felt like I hit a lot of decent shots but too many weak ones. On this golf course you really get punished if your game is not rock solid. I was really nice to get going though and even though it can be hard to understand I quite enjoyed the battle out there. End of the day I have to look at that I prepared the way I wanted and I stayed strong on the course not giving away any shots, basically that is all I can ask of myself.
Now the challenge is to keep working and see where it takes me. I know + 10 isn't a great score after 2 days but I am being honest when I say there were some really encouraging signs.
It was the first week of the year and sometimes it seems like it takes me a little longer to find my game.
I am still as determined as I have ever been and I think my game will move in the right direction in the very near future...
